They know that getting one is difficult and only pros have the greater chance of having one. To start your very own African wildlife photo gallery, here are some tips that you might wanna know.

Start your photography day by going out early in the morning and staying out until late. Most wild life photographer would suggest that capturing such is greater on golden hour. This is when the sky will turn orange. The scene is breath taking as the skies looks magnificent while the animals moves in the background.

Stay close to the ground. Most animals are sensitive when they see humans, by being close to the ground, it cannot easily see you. This gives the opportunity to be as close as possible to them. When the image captured is on its perspective, it would look dramatic adding a story to the picture.

Try putting the subject on the side sometimes. You might find yourself trying to capture images of a scenery you find great but it ended up boring on your camera. Do not give up right away and find other ways. Try to adjust your subject on the side and focus on very little detail in the center and this might work to get the image you wanted. It will even look more enhanced.

Four, look at its eye. If an opportunity arises, try to catch its eyes when it looks at you. Their eyes will bring your photo to life as their eyes depicts its mood and emotion. Your focus should be at it. Look at the animal and see what it is doing. When it is looking at a certain direction, do not cut it, capture the whole thing.

Set up your shutter speed to an accurate one. The key here is your shutter speed, the wrong speed not only will decrease the chance of capturing a good photo but surely all your catch are blurry. So, play with your camera first to find out which of the following speed is the right one.

Be always prepared. During the perfect moment, you must already be ready at that time. Your patience is tested here as you must wait for the perfect moment to arrive. All photographers that goes here experienced the same thing. Just be patience and eventually it will turn out great in the end.

For those who would like to take moving pictures of a subject, the secret is in your camera. For Nikon users, set auto focus to AFC. For canon users, set it to Servo. Other camera brands almost have the same settings. Your focus must be pointed on the head of the animal and not on the body in order to get the best shot.

The thing is, you really could not take even just a decent one right away. Practice has to be done in order to achieve such. So, keep on practicing until you find it easy to take moving pictures. Practice it with your pets first while you are still at the comforts of your home.
